This paper is tailored to prepare new students who will be studying in the Bachelor of Laws programme. It offers an introduction to core topics and skills in legal studies. Topics include law-making, legislature and legislation, the court system, common law and case law analysis. Skills include written and oral advocacy skills, legal research, and group work. It will also include an introduction to the law library and Moodle.
